Balancers


Properly balancing your water on a weekly basis will extend the life of your equipment and prevent corrosion, scale formation, mineral staining, eye and skin irritation. Read and follow manufacturer’s labels or ask our staff for application instructions before applying chemicals to your pool.

Please note it is important to test the pool water weekly and treat according to your water chemistry test results. 

Balance Pak 100

  • Raises total alkalinity
  • Low total alkalinity causes the water to become corrosive which can cause eye and skin irritation, damage to the pool surface, system and system parts, and cause pH to fluctuate excessively when being adjusted.
  • Ideal range is 125-150ppm or 80-150ppm for pools equipped with a chlorine generator
  • Apply 180g per 10,000L to raise the total alkalinity by 10ppm

Balance Pak 200

  • Raises pH
  • Low pH causes the water to become corrosive which can cause eye and skin irritation, damage to the pool surface, system and system parts, and cause pool staining.
  • Ideal range is 7.4-7.6 for optimal chlorine activity and bather comfort
  • Apply 100g per 10,000L if pH reading is 7.1-7.3
  • Apply 200g per 10,000L if pH reading is 6.8-7.0

Balance Pak 300

  • Raises calcium hardness
  • Low calcium hardness causes the water to become corrosive which can cause eye and skin irritation, damage to the pool surface, system and system parts, and cause pool staining.  Never allow hardness to remain below 100pm.
  • Ideal range is 175-225ppm in vinyl liner & fibreglass pools 
  • Ideal range is 200-275ppm in plaster and fully tiled pools
  • Apply 100g per 10,000L to raise the calcium hardness by 10ppm

Lo ‘N Slo

  • Lowers pH and total alkalinity
  • High pH causes the water to become basic which is scale forming and can cause eye and skin irritation, damage to the pool surface, system and system parts, pool wall discolouration, decreased chlorine activity/efficiency and contributes to cloudy water.
  • Ideal range is 7.4-7.6 for optimal chlorine activity and bather comfort
  • Apply 90g per 10,000L if pH reading is 7.7-8.0
  • Apply 150g per 10,000L if pH reading is 8.1-8.4
  • 1.25kg, 4.5kg & 11kg sizes available

Stabilizer 100

  • Increases CYA (cyanuric acid) 
  • Prevents free chlorine residual loss in swimming pool water due to sunlight reducing chlorine consumption and maintenance costs.
  • Initial application of 300g per 10,000L and then as indicated by water testing results
  • 750g & 2.5kg sizes available 

Instant Stabilizer 100

  • Increases CYA (cyanuric acid) 
  • Prevents free chlorine residual loss in swimming pool water due to sunlight reducing chlorine consumption and maintenance costs.
  • If CYA is less than 30ppm then apply 120ml per 38,000L to raise CYA by 1ppm (In 80,000L pool apply 253ml to raise CYA by 1ppm)
  • 3.78L size available 

Scale Inhibitor

  • Prevents and removes metal stains and scale on pool surfaces and equipment in chlorine and bromine pools.
  • Initial treatment apply 1L per 40,000L
  • Monthly maintenance treatment 125ml per 10,000L
  • To remove fresh metallic stains (less than 5 days) apply 1L per 40,000L
  • 946ml & 3.78L sizes available

Pool Magnet Plus

  • Prevents and removes metal stains in chlorine and bromine pools.
  • Monthly maintenance treatment 250ml per 10,000L
  • To remove fresh metallic stains (less than 5 days) apply 1-3L depending on the severity of the stains, not exceeding a  maximum dose of 3L per 40,000L
  • 946ml & 3.78L sizes available

Stabilizer Sticks

  • Increases CYA (cyanuric acid) 
  • Prevents free chlorine residual loss in swimming pool water due to sunlight reducing chlorine consumption and maintenance costs.
  • Initial application of 1 tablet (250g) per 10,000L and then as indicated by water testing results
  • 2.5kg size available

Chlor-Out

  • Reduces high chlorine levels
  • Ideal chlorine range is 1-3ppm, it is recommended to reduce high chlorine levels to a maximum of 5ppm before swimming
  • Apply 20g per 10,000L to reduce chlorine by 1ppm
